Random March-ness

When we weren’t ducking the storms or playing at Legoland, we were doing some everyday/cool stuff!

Andrew is taking a play productions class at Timothy Ministries (homeschool enrichment classes), and this month he put on “The Cheetah’s Tears.”  He does so well with memorizing his lines!  I would love to see him do a community play, but we’ll see!  He says he would be too shy!

He said he was nervous, so I could tell he wouldn’t look at the audience!

IMG_0059

Look at that face of relief…he made it through and remembered every line!

IMG_0068

We also built Andrew’s birdhouse…

IMG_0164

…Lily was lots of help!

IMG_0166

We went to the playground with Miss Katie and the boys…

IMG_0157

…the boys were too busy playing for any pics!  Oh boys!

IMG_0153

What am I doing Mommy?

IMG_0146

Phew, back on solid ground!

IMG_0139

The boys had never shown much interest in their bikes due to their obsession with their scooters, but it was time to take the training wheels off and get them obsessed with something else!

IMG_0042

It took all of 1 try for each to master it…I guess they were ready!

IMG_0039

Ryan again was too excited to stop for pics!

Everything to Lily is exciting!

Like I said, March went out like a lamb with smiling happy faces!

Watch out tornado, we have helmets!

The month of March was true to its nursery rhyme…In like a lion…and out like a lamb!

We were given many tornado warnings and sirens and one hit very close to our home!  But we weren’t scared, we had a closet and helmets.

IMG_0006

Daddy says when we buy our new home, we WILL have a basement!

Ok, so the boys were a little scared…especially when the hail starts, but it proved to be a true lesson in faith and prayer!

The boys knew to trust God and he would keep us safe, even if we got hit, he would provide!

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

The one thing I don’t think we as humans seem to understand in our flesh is that sometimes the future seems harmful to us. But in God’s great plan, our inevitable future is in paradise with our Savior!  No matter what,  I try to tell the boys, the worst thing that could happen is that we die and go to heaven.  In truth, that’s the best thing that will EVER happen to us!

LEGOLAND!

IMG_0177

Legoland has come to Atlanta…and we got a sneak peak before the grand opening with our homeschool group!  It was great, we put on a parade and got to make Legoland posters to show our support.  We had a blast as you can see…

IMG_0270

Lily was a trooper…she would NOT go to sleep! She didn’t want to miss a thing!

IMG_0249

We had lots of fun, and I was so amazed at all the characters and  animals made of legos!  Matt had a great idea…make the toilets out of legos…how did they miss that???

Impromtu photo shoot…

So, back in March, Lily and the boys were outside and my friend next door, Katie, came out and took some pics of our little girl. Lily was not in the mood, evening times are not great times for her mood, but Katie can make any picture, smiling or not, look great!

Such a happy girl! Even when she’s not in a good mood!
