We wish you a merry Christmas…late!
She was totally NOT in the mood for pics…
I messed up the red eye on the second pic and red eye reduced her dress…now that takes talent! HA!
From here, things just got ugly…in a cute baby way.
All 3 football fans…
Finally tree decorating…the boys got their way with colorful lights this year!
In honor of the deer Daddy hit that night…
This Christmas, as with most others, we are blessed to have lots of family to share in the celebration. This year we had three in addition to our very own Christmas morning. Here are some recaps of them all
Thank you Uncle Billy and Aunt Megan!
Our brother and sis in law were going to her parents for real Christmas, so we got to have an early Christmas with them…
Megan was so busy hosting, that we didn’t get any pics…booooo! Well, here’s one of her back and top of head…
BIG HUGS of thanks!
Then there of course was our daily fun…
I have never seen these boys enjoy a gift more…thank you Aunt Megan for the TACKLE BUDDY!
Christmas at our house…
And the big gift…
The Aftermath…
Later that day… …it was on to Grammy’s.
She knows her grandchildren too well!
Her son too
Although she was not quite sure what to think of it yet, this bonnet is actually both a bonnet to wear when she’s a baby and an hankie to use as “something old” on her wedding day with a few clips of the ribbon!
Tears!
Mommy and her little girl!
A wonderful time was had by all, thank you Grammy and Peepaw for such a fun Christmas! The boys now have an entertainment bundle in their room!
The next week, it was on to Aunt Amy and Uncle Joe’s house…or as the boys call it now, Nana’s!
Oh, wow, another Nana sighting! They are few and far between…she avoids the camera!
Michael loved his present…I think.
All the cousins…
And then, as always, it was PLAYTIME!
The kids were playing house with Lily and put her in the baby doll stroller, it was so cute! Matt pushed her around and she thought she was big stuff!
We love playtime with the cousins…they will be forever friends!
The next day, Lily showed us that she could master that stinky Bumbo once and for all!
As I look back on 2011, I cannot believe how much fun we had! We did so much even if it was just doing school at home and chilling the rest of the day because we ingrained love and security in our little one’s hearts!
Each and every one of us needs to know that God does the same for us! He offers love and security to his children in the big, exciting, fun things; and in the calm, quiet, and sometimes challenging things. Just as our children, we take it for granted, but as we grow in our faith, we must thank Him everyday for this gift! THANK YOU GOD for your love and security! We love you so very much too!
