This Forth of July was awesome! We got to go with Grammy and Pee Paw to their neighborhood fireworks display on the 3rd which closely resembled a medium size city display. We could not believe the extent of fireworks that there were. The boys especially loved waiting for dark to come while playing on the golf course. That will probably be the only time they will EVER be allowed to build sandcastles in a golf bunker. I’m sure the course superintendents had their work cut out for them the next few days.
On the actual Fourth, Matt took the boys out front for the Harris Family’s fireworks display…fun was had by all. I was at work, hey, we’d rather be away from each other on the 4th of July than on Christmas!
Along with pool play almost daily, we were so happy to have Nana, Aunt Amy, Madeline and Michael to visit. We even got to get both our family’s together at Grammy and Pee Paw’s for a cookout!
We had lots of fun cousin time, especially at my favorite, The Coca Cola Museum. Unfortunately, Matt had some work to finish up and had to stay behind. We always feel like part of us is missing when he can’t come. Just means we’ll have to re visit! After much deliberation and burping we chose our favorite coke drinks:
Ryan - “Sprite, because I like Sprite”
Andrew – “the one from Australia, I forget”
Mommy - “Coke makes a drink other than Classic?”
Hands down, the Beverly was the WORST!
And the finale of July was the cool tent Daddy built for the boys. Check it out!
