So, the Middle Georgia set (my sis, mom, and Madeline and Michael), came up to visit and study some “Georgia Locales” for a school project for Maddie! We had a crash course in Atlanta government buildings and when it was all over were able to see a TV production for a show that will be on NBC in the fall! Pretty cool, we thought we were going to see the Capitol and we ran smack dab into the set and the Director of the Grounds of the Capitol. We actually got a behind the scenes tour of the TV set, then were kicked out so they could start filming! How cool is that? I think that will be the most unique Georgia place found in Mad’s class.
We started with a Marta ride…
Thank goodness for “in the know” Atlantans…as we were not! Matt and I joke that my mom and sister should go on “The Amazing Race” together…you know we love you girls!
A little visit to the Reserve…I have NEVER seen that much money…ever!
Lily had her Maiden Voyage to the Varsity!
Ryan decided this was the longest named memorial in the world… haha
Oh these two…attached since birth!
Time for a rest!
A preview of Matt and Jenny in 40 years!
We finished with a visit to the Governor’s office to sign the guest book…
…definitely not made for children!
And this is how many cords it takes to power a tv show!
I wouldn’t want to see that bill!
Lily was all smiles in the Marta…
It was great day and we were all ready for bed once we got home!
Thank you Bobbitts for the fun!
