Roswell Mill Homeschool Trip

This month we visited the Roswell Mill.  Truly, the mill had burned down years ago, but we were able to study the use of water as power!  We also learned about the natural resources that were used in the late 1800’s for the people who lived around the mill, like oversized “lambs ear” leaves for toilet paper.  The trails were gorgeous and a little rocky for the stroller, but Matt pressed on…he’s our super hero!

I was quite nervous having the boys so close to the falls…oh boys!  They got side tracked skipping rocks with Daddy which of course was their favorite part!

We really enjoy having our homeschool group to hang out with, sometimes there are 10 kids, sometimes 80!  But either way, the boys treasure their trips and we treasure getting to experience them together!  Sometimes I wonder how we became blessed enough to help train these little angels and the fact that God has made it possible for us to do so solidifies our decision!  Homeschooling may not be for everyone, but it’s definitely for us!

“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. “

Deuteronomy 6:6-7
