Liliana, two in one!

 

So, when I gave birth to Lily, we never imagined we’d get two little girls in one!  Lily comes 2 ways, “Miss Fancy Pants” and “Hot Mess Lily.”  She has these two personas in every aspect of her life.  Behavior, clothing, hair, attitude…you name it, she’s one or the other. On her hot mess days, she wont let me brush her hair at all and her fancy pants days, she won’t leave the house without a bow! Since I can’t show video of the behavior and attitude I thought I’d give you a peak of our duo 2 year old in fashion and hair.  I guess I could say her double life is that of a tomboy and princess, we just never know which one we get.  Either way we love all of you Miss Lily!

This girl never ceases to amaze me and all in good ways!  She makes me laugh, shake my head and throw my hands up all in the same minute!  God gave her personality with a capital “P” and I wouldn’t want it any other way!

I’m sure I say this about all of our children, but this sweet little girl is such smiley baby.

She giggles and laughs all the time…unless we try to lay her down for bed…but that’s a different story!

She may be our only little one with blue eyes thanks to my dad and Matt’s mom!  I have always wanted a baby with Matt’s gorgeous skin color and blue eyes.  Verdict is still out though…

All in all I think she’s pretty happy with her life!

The 3” blizzard that shut down the ATL

 

 

Anyone alive in the past 6 months has heard of the huge shutdown/gridlock of Atlanta and suburbs this January.  Well, embarrassingly, we too were stuck.  The boys had gone to their enrichment classes that morning and by 1000 am, they had been cancelled.  These classes are held at First Baptist of Woodstock which is about 20miles from our home now in Kennesaw.  So when the snow hit the fan, we were in the middle of it.  Granted I’m from the north and have driven in much more snow than this, I have to say it was the slipperiest snow I have every experienced.  Anything over 5 miles an hour and I was fishtailing but of course that was not the problem because we were at a complete standstill a majority of the time.  So 6 hours from the starting point, Matt walked a couple miles to meet us and rescue this damsel in distress!  Once we were home, it was all fun and games.  Here are the kiddos ready to play in less than 20 degree weather.

We girls opted for a fishbowl view of the fun for most of the time since we had Miss Sophie, but Lily was a trooper for about 2 minutes.

Within a day, weather was in the 40’s and our snow was gone!

4 Beautiful Generations!

 

      Here I go again blogging late and out of chronological order, but this was too good to miss!  In November Matt’s Mamaw and Pawpaw visited as well as his Uncle Rick and Aunt Marie and cousin Conner.  We always love getting to see them and the boys especially look up to Conner.  Add in Uncle Billy, Aunt Megan and Liam and it was almost a family reunion.

These pics were back before my new camera.  I never really noticed how great my camera is but seeing these I am soooo thankful for my Christmas gift! 

Thank you Grammy for hosting such a great holiday!  The awesome part was we got to celebrate Ryan’s birthday along with everyone…stay tuned!

Sweet Liam turns 1…

 

 

Back in January our precious little nephew/cousin turned the big 1!  He is sooooo cute and the opposite of our kids features except those token brown eyes.  I could eat him up!  He weighs the same as Lily and seriously looks like he’s 2 but he is so sweet and gentle I am sure Megan and Billy have lots to do with that.  They are kind and sweet too.  The party was held at his house and his Mommy did great, here’s to many more birthday parties for your little one!

Now from the party, Liam was quite the commodity, so most of the pics are of all the action and the other kids/adults.

Sophia Grace even said she loved Liam’s party…Great job Aunt Megan!  Your sweet little man is growing up so fast and happy.  You are such and excellent Mommy and Daddy(Billy)!

Watch out world…this little one is growing up fast!  Soon it will be her 1st birthday!  Be still my heart!
